Teams of architects, engineers and contractors will compete to design and build giant structures created entirely out of canned food for the 2nd Annual San Francisco CANstruction 2012.
At the end of the exhibit, all cans will be donated to the SF Food Bank.
Fourteen teams spent nearly 12 hours each building their sculptures using 3,000-5,000 cans each and will be on display as a free art exhibit filling the interior atrium and long concourse of One Market from November 12-17, 2012.
The exhibit is free to view, though attendees are encouraged to bring cans of food to donate.
