San Francisco Canstruction is a way for architects, engineers and contractors to give back to the communities in which they help build. With an expected 70-thousand cans of food to be donated Sunday, it will be the largest one-day donation in San Francisco food bank history.

Teams of architects, engineers and contractors will compete to design and build giant structures created entirely out of canned food for the 2nd Annual San Francisco CANstruction 2012.

Exemplary Youngster Supports CANstruction!

Young Will Chiang raised $1,000 in the last 18 months after viewing CANstruction at the Metreon in June 2011 and being so impressed with the event and the cause. The selfless young man celebrated his 10th birthday this month, and he requested no gifts from his friends - but asked for donations to CANstruction instead!
